As a life long wrestler and weight lifter Greg has always been a practitioner of movement. He started a career in teaching Special Education and Coaching wrestling in 2009 in the Bay Area. Shortly after he began his yoga journey on a whim in an effort to help heal his back when he was told he would need surgery. He immediately fell in love with the practice and started seeing the results. He was able to wrestle, coach and live without pain!

He moved to Atascadero in 2014 to teach and coach at Atascadero high school. It was then that he started practicing at what is now PURE Yoga and Wellness!

He continued his practice and in 2020 decided it was time to take it to the next level and get a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher certificate. After completing his training he was still eager to learn more and completed an advanced mentorship program with Khristine Jones out of Morro Bay. Since then he has incorporated yoga into all aspects of his life and thoroughly enjoy sharing the gifts of practicing yoga.

E-ryt 200hr

Grace is passionate about living an abundant life and helping others to do the same. She began to practice yoga regularly after college while working a desk job. It started as a way to improve her posture and reduce stress but quickly became a healthy obsession. In yoga, she discovered a beautiful way of integrating therapeutic care for her body, mind and soul all at once. She trained as a yoga instructor through the Yoga Works teacher training in 2010. After teaching yoga and working as a massage practitioner and doula for several years, she took a break to devote attention to her growing family and all things birth, baby and pre and postpartum care related. In her classes, she hopes you’ll build an appreciation for your amazing body, an awareness of prana, and a greater sense of presence.

When not practicing yoga, you’ll find her adventuring with her 4 young kids, homeschooling, hiking, reading, or stopping to smell the roses.

e-ryt 500hr | yoga sculpt

Jacqui found yoga here on the the central coast in 2010. She originally started yoga hoping it would help with anxiety and stress. Not only did it help, but she quickly fell in love with everything yoga had to offer. Every time she came to her mat she felt a sense of calm, just simply moving with her breathe. She loved the community that came with her yoga practice. Within a year she found that vinyasa yoga was where her heart was. She loved challenging her body and mind with every class. The fact that you never knew what was coming with each class and instructor was her favorite part.

In 2013 Jacqui completed her 200 hour training in San Luis Obispo and began teaching. In 2017 she completed her advanced 300 hour training under Noah Maze and Rocky Heron in Hollywood. Delving into advanced training was one of her most rewarding experiences.

Jacqui is experienced is hatha yoga and well known for her vinyasa and power flow classes. Expect to be challenged, sweat, and most importantly have fun!

Jessica's yoga experience began 2 decades ago with Bikram in SLO. Throughout these years she fell off and on the yoga wagon, but was blessed to find what is now Pure Yoga and Wellness and was immediately addicted to the community, high quality teachers, and magical space. This fit right in as a necessary balance with her journey of personal development and training, while also serving the community as a paramedic for over 20 years. Caring for (and often lifting) humans while on shift work (24-48 hr shifts) for a living can take a toll on the body and mind and her yoga and Pilates practice kept her sustainable in both, while reminding her of her JOY!

She has completed Level I, II, and III training for Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) and also obtained certification in mindset coaching- a practice that uses Time-Line Therapy for MASSIVE transformation in any area of life.

It is her honor and sincere pleasure to practice with our community whether along side of you in class or guiding you in remembering YOUR POWER AND JOY.
